Moss Lake is a gold exploration company with a significant gold asset in the Shebandowan area of Ontario, west of Thunder Bay. It is management's intention
in 2008 to meet and achieve the following objectives:
- raise the profile of the core asset significantly
- commence with a preliminary economic assessment study of the Moss Lake Gold Deposit
- complete a drilling program with the goal of upgrading the current resource classification
The Moss Lake Gold Deposit contains an Inferred Mineral Resources estimate of
50.92 million tonnes grading 0.926 gAu/tonne (1.515M oz of contained Au), in the
Main and QES to 256 m (840 ft) vertical and the deposit remains open to the southwest
and at depth as per a NI 43-101 compliant report filed on SEDAR in November,
2006. The Qualified Person for the NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource estimate
of the Moss Lake Gold Deposit project is John R. Sullivan, P. Geo., Senior Geologist
for Watts, Griffis and McOuat. Employing a 0.5 gAu/tonne cut-off grade within the
resource model generates an inferred resource subset of 35.4 million tonnes grading
1.2 gAu/tonne at shallow depths. This will be the focus of the economic
assessment.
